At Paperstack, we provide financing to e-commerce brands through working capital designed to scale with their growth. Over the past 12 months, we've achieved remarkable growth - and we're now expanding our underwriting team.

We're looking for an Accounting & Finance Analyst to support our Underwriting and Risk teams in preparing, organizing, and advancing deal flow.

The Role

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who's looking to play a hands-on role in the underwriting process.

💼 What You'll Be Doing

Deal Evaluation & Analysis

• Assist underwriters in evaluating new deals by organizing and reviewing financial data, identifying gaps, and ensuring submission packages meet underwriting requirements
• Prepare deal summaries and financial snapshots using internal templates to support quick and accurate credit assessment
• Analyze trends in historical performance and help flag items that may need further attention, such as revenue volatility, etc

Data Management & Tracking

• Maintain accurate deal data across internal systems, ensuring underwriters and risk leads always have access to clean, up-to-date information
• Track deal progress from initial submission through approval and funding, helping manage follow-ups, internal handoffs, and outstanding requirements

Ongoing Portfolio Support

• Support recurring account reviews by compiling updated financials, history, and tracking compliance with required thresholds
